Global XXXX – Paramount Signs Pornographic Film Partnership With Broken Road Productions
Despite the ominous name, this project isn’t just about pornography. He writes that it’s an attempt to reshape the way sex is perceived, adjudicated, and packaged around the world. It’s “a none too benign neoliberal project that is inexorably refashioning the world as some sort of McLuhanesque dark paradise.”
The film is produced by Broken Road Productions and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. The sequel is the second in a series that began in 2022, with the Ice Cube movie XXX : The Return of XanderCage. The new film is directed by D.J. Caruso (Fast and Furious). It stars Vin Diesel, Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu and Nina Dobrev.
This is the second time in this year that a major film studio has signed on to a Global XXXX production. Warner Bros. teamed with Gary Scott Thompson for the upcoming horror movie Freak Nation.
As part of the deal, Paramount has renewed its first-look partnership with Todd Garner’s Broken Road Productions. The pact covers multiple projects, including several based on the successful XXX series of films.
X announced that in addition to the new guidelines mentioned above, any adult content on the platform will be censored, and anyone who posts such material could have their account terminated. In a move that resembles how performers monetize their content on social media platform OnlyFans, X will also allow sex workers to charge subscribers a fee for access to their content.
The Global XXXX initiative is the latest in a series of initiatives by streaming platforms to expand their reach to a wider audience. They’ve previously tried to entice younger viewers by offering free content, as well as paid tiers with more mature content.
tci General Surgery Coding Alert
It’s important to remember that a procedure code with an XXX indicator has inherent pre-procedure, intra-procedure and post-procedure work included within its global period. Medicare will bundle E&M into the procedure when reporting these procedures. Payment for the procedure cannot be separated from the global surgery period. Modifier 25 should be added to the E/M service if the physician provided a related consultation that is significantly different than the procedure being reported.
